The Irish Open Main Event Takes Centre Stage

Taking centre stage is the Irish Open Main Event, with Day 1A kicking off at noon on Wednesday, November 11th. With a buy-in of 12,500 MAD – approximately €1,140 and in line with the buy-in to our Irish Open Dublin Main Event – players can experience the excitement of the Irish Open against the spectacular backdrop of Marrakech.

Day 1B follows on Thursday and Day 1C on Friday, giving players a choice of starting flights. Looking to qualify for a fraction of the buy-in? Turbo and hyper-turbo satellites throughout the week offer more opportunities to secure a seat. Friday evening’s Day 1D Turbo provides one final chance to join the action and bag a stack for Day 2.

The excitement rises on Saturday, November 14th, as the surviving players return for Day 2, before Sunday’s final day decides who will be crowned the inaugural Irish Open Marrakech Main Event champion. With the Main Event final table streamed live across international platforms, poker fans around the world can follow the drama, big hands and unforgettable moments as the race for the title and the coveted Irish Open trophy unfolds.

High Rollers and Side Events

The action heats up on Saturday 14th November, as the 32,500 MAD (approximately €3,000) NLH Super High Roller takes centre stage with the battle for the title concluding on Sunday. Alongside the opening day’s 24,000 MAD (approximately €2,200) NLH High Roller, it gives players another chance to compete for one of the festival’s standout titles.

There’s plenty more action on the Irish Open Marrakech schedule, too. The NLH Deepstack Supersonic brings a change of pace, while the NLH Mystery Bounty adds the thrill of a surprise bounty to the chase. With different formats to explore and coveted Irish Open trophies up for grabs, the excitement extends well beyond the Main Event.

Pot-Limit Omaha Players Are Well Covered

PLO fans will have plenty of reasons to make the trip, with several tournaments spread throughout the schedule. The opening days feature PLO 4/5/6 and a PLO 6-Max Turbo, while Saturday brings PLO Day 1, with the final day on Sunday, as well as the PLO 8-Max tournament.

There is plenty happening in the final days, including the 50+ Seniors Championship, the NLH Classic Freezeout, and several other tournaments.

In total, there are 36 tournaments on the schedule, so it’s safe to say there will be more than one tournament to suit your taste.

Sunday promises a thrilling finale to the last day of the Festival, with the Irish Open Marrakech Main Event, Mini Irish Open, Super High Roller and PLO event all playing down to a winner. Four titles, four prestigious Irish Open trophies up for grabs and a thrilling day of poker as players chase the titles and their share of the prize pools.

The festival signs off in style with The Irish Goodbye at 8pm on Sunday, rounding off six unforgettable days of poker in the spectacular surroundings of Marrakech.
