A massive roster of iPoker online satellites is about to get underway for the 2027 Irish Open.
There is simply no better way to secure your ticket to the Irish Open than qualifying online – including both the €2.5 million guaranteed Irish Open Main Event and the €1 million guaranteed Mini Irish Open.
A real bonus this time around is that iPoker is enabling qualifiers to use their tickets at global Irish Open events as well as the Dublin edition – including November’s Irish Open Marrakech event and the Irish Open planned for the USA next year.
iPoker sent more qualifiers to this year’s Irish Open in Dublin than ever before after running a huge satellite schedule. More than 800 players competed in the Irish Open Main Event and Mini after winning their seat or package on the iPoker network.
Big name qualifiers in 2026
iPoker qualifiers really thrived at this year’s Irish Open – snagging six trophies between them and making numerous final tables. Serial iPoker qualifier Trevor Reardon, who cashed three times in 2025, took down this year’s €1,150 NLH Mystery Bounty. Jamie Clossick, Nick Newport, Jamie Flynn, Mike Koch, Nils Jarefjall and 2013 champion Ian Simpson all cashed SIX times during the festival. The highest placed iPoker qualifier in the Main Event was Edward Dunphy who finished ninth for €47,800. Overall, iPoker qualifiers won more than €1.4 million between them!

iPoker 2027 satellite schedule
A total of 115 Main Event seats and 112 Mini Irish Open seats are up for grabs for next year’s Irish Open, along with over 180 packages worth €2,250. An extra two months have been added to the satellite schedule with operators anticipating huge interest.
This year’s record-breaking Main Event attracted more than 5,000 players and overall, there were more than 32,000 tournament entries across the 89 tournaments and over €14.5 million awarded in prize money.
The iPoker satellites kick off this coming Monday (September 7) and will be taking place right up to March 8, just over a week before the start of next year’s Irish Open which is running from March 18 to March 29 at the Royal Dublin Society.
Packages galore
The €2,250 Main Event packages cover not only a player’s €1,150 Main Event buy-in but a generous € 1,100 contribution towards travel expenses as well. The majority of the packages will be dispensed via “flighted” satellites. The two-step qualification path starts with daily €150 “Day 1” flights with a Day 2 flight taking place every Sunday – starting on September 13. In September, each Sunday qualifier guarantees three packages but this will gradually ramp up as we get nearer the festival – with four packages guaranteed in October, five in December and a whopping eight packages guaranteed in January. By the time the Irish Open is nearly upon us, the Sunday guarantee will be up to 12 packages. PS There are no direct buy-ins for the Day 2 – you must win your way into the Sunday events via the Day 1 qualifiers.
The iPoker network is also offering a series of exclusive micro flighted tournaments with 19 packages guaranteed during the promotion period and a buy-in cost of just €2. The €2 Day 1s run every day from September 7 with the Sunday Day 2s taking place every Sunday from September 27 to February 21, 2027. More than 400 players won packages for the 2026 Irish Open.
Seat-only
€50 seat-only qualifiers will be running five times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday) with a mix of re-entry tournaments and re-buy/add-on events. There will be 115 seats guaranteed before the Irish Open festival kicks off next March.
In addition to the above, heaps of feeder satellites – into both the seat-only and package qualifiers – will be on offer every day with buy-ins ranging from Centrolls to €50 for the Main Event. For this year’s festival, more than 300 players won their Main Event seats in iPoker qualifiers.
Mini Irish Open
The iPoker network will also be hosting satellites for the Mini Irish Open, guaranteeing 112 seats between November 1 and March 8. The qualifiers will run three times a week (Monday, Friday and Sunday) with a mix of €10 entry with re-entries and re-buy/add-on tournaments. There were over 150 qualifiers for the 2026 Mini with 81 making the money including 23 who enjoyed four-figure cashes.
The launch of satellites on the iPoker network means players from all over Europe and beyond have the chance to qualify for the 2027 Main Event for just a fraction of a euro.

Longest-running tournament in Europe
The Irish Open, which won Best Standalone Festival at the 2025 Global Poker Awards, is the longest-running No Limit poker tournament in Europe. As well as the €2.5 million guaranteed €1,150 Main Event, the 2027 schedule will also include the €1,000,000 guaranteed Mini Irish Open and the €1,000,000 guaranteed Luxon Pay Mystery Bounty.
