A new player entered the fray and the floor first balanced all three tables to have seven each seated before the latest arrival got to pick a seat assignment. It was none other than Richard “Chufty” Ashby, a two-time WSOP gold bracelet winner and legend of the televised UK cash game shows.
Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies was also on his table but the Finn busted soon after that to bring the field down to 22 left out of 27 entries.
