Friday April 7th sees Days 1c and 1d of the 2023 Irish Open Main Event dominate the cavernous Main Hall at the Royal Dublin Society. Among the players will be our beloved commentator James Hartigan, and just to make the whole thing even more exciting, the longer Hartigan manages to stay in, the more freerolls PokerStars are going to be running for all you lucky people at home. GL James! You can see him tell Laura Cornelius all about it below.
Day 1c begins at noon; Day 1d will have a ✨turbo format✨ and starts at 10pm. There are also supersats running at noon, 4pm and 6pm. It is going to be HUGE.
Coverage for the Main will largely be taken care of by our buddies over at PokerNews (clicky clicky for link) With side events being a bit thin on the ground today, we’ll be turning our attention to the off-felt shenanigans that really make the Irish Open the greatest poker festival in the world. Join us back here from a civilised hour in the early afternoon until late, late into the night for news, gossip, scandalous frivolity and whatever else we find on our highly professional journalistic mission deep into the 2023 Irish Open. It is with the greatest pleasure that we say: we’ll see you in the bar. Sláinte! 🍻
