
PokerOrg has launched a superb competition with PokerStars to give all its members the chance to win a $5k Irish Open package – for free!
All members have to do to take part in the Pick 3 for SCOOP 2026 competition is select a team of three players from the lists that PokerOrg has compiled of elite online tournament crushers.
The contest is only open to PokerOrg members but that’s the easy bit – PokerOrg is free to join and only requires an email address to register.
This year’s SCOOP runs from March 1 to March 25 (ie right up to the start of this year’s Irish Open festival on March 26). Every win – and in-the-money finish – will earn valuable points for your fantasy SCOOP team. The deadline for entry is March 1.
PokerOrg will be collating results throughout this year’s SCOOP and will automatically update your team’s score. Check your progress daily throughout the series for the ultimate SCOOP sweat and a freeroll you can’t miss.
PokerOrg will also be on the ground at this year’s Irish Open which is taking place from March 26 to April 6 at the Royal Dublin Society. There are 86 different tournaments including the €2.5million guaranteed Main Event, €1m guaranteed Luxon Pay Mystery Bounty and €1m guaranteed Mini Irish Open.
How to play PokerOrg’s Pick 3 for SCOOP 2026 competition
- Head to the competition page on PokerOrg.
- Pick your team of three SCOOP 2026 players – 1 player from the ‘Big Hitters’ list and 2 from ‘The Field’
- Enter your team name and answer the tiebreaker question: ‘How many entries will the 3 SCOOP NLH Main Events get (Low, Medium and High) combined?’
- If you have a PokerStars account, submit your username to be in with a chance of bonus prizes in the free seat raffles
- You can edit your team any time before the March 1 deadline
- Points are awarded based on the overall SCOOP leaderboard
- Every SCOOP tournament counts, across all three tiers (Low, Medium and High)
- The entrant whose team earns the most points by the end of the SCOOP festival wins a $5K package for the Irish Poker Open.
- Teams finishing 2-10 on the leaderboard will win $109 PokerStars tourney tickets (or merchandise if not eligible to play at PokerStars)
In the event that more than one team finishes in a prize-winning spot, PokerOrg will use the tiebreaker answer to decide who finishes on top.
