Satellites get going on iPoker; feeders as little as €0.50

Satellites are now up and running on the iPoker network for April’s €1,150 buy-in Irish Poker Open Main Event.

The network is providing a huge selection of feeders – from as little as €0.50 – into direct qualifiers that will be running multiple times a day. Both seat-only tickets and full €2,250 packages are up for grabs. The iPoker provision means that thousands of players across the world will have the chance to win their way into the Irish Open Main Event, the longest-running No Limit Hold’em tournament in the world outside of Vegas.

The satellites, which are open to players on numerous sites across the iPoker network, will be running right through to March 19, just days before the festival kicks off in Dublin on April 3. The sites include Paddy Power, Betfair Poker, Grosvenor Poker, Bet365, Betsson, NordicBet, BetFred, Guts, BoyleSports, Novibet, Guts, BetSafe, NetBet, CoolBet, LatamWin and PAF.

The seat-only qualifiers are taking place every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 8pm. The Wednesday qualifier is a €50 buy-in rebuy tournament; the Friday to Sunday qualifiers are re-entry tournaments with a €100 buy-in. Both qualifiers feature €1,150 seats guaranteed. The Daily feeders cost €0.50 or €1 and guarantee tickets for the €7.50, €10 and €20 feeder satellites.

The full package qualifiers, which are running every Sunday at 9pm until March 19, are effectively Day 2s for the €150 buy-in which are running six times a day throughout the week. The re-entry Day 1s will play up to Level 17 and those players that get through to the Sunday Day 2s will be competing for the €2,250 packages. The nearer we get to the start of the Irish Open festival, the more packages will be guaranteed on iPoker; the final two Sunday qualifiers – on March 12 and March 19 – will feature at least five packages guaranteed. Players can progress up the steps for all the qualifiers from daily feeders starting at just €3.
