Paddy Power will certainly be spreading the love this Christmas with a bunch of seats into next year’s €1 million guaranteed Irish Poker Open Main Event up for grabs. The popular site is playing Santa throughout the holiday period with three online qualifiers including a special satellite on December 28 with five €1,150 seats guaranteed.
Tomorrow, on Christmas Day, there’s a €50 buy-in qualifier with two €1,150 seats guaranteed. On December 28th, the €50 qualifier will have five €1,150 seats guaranteed and, for those who are not too hungover from New Year’s Eve shenanigans, there’s yet another qualifier on New Year’s Day with a further two €1,150 seats guaranteed. Rebuys and add-ons will be available for all the satellites.
The Irish Poker Open is the longest-running No Limit Hold’em tournament in the world outside of Vegas and is taking place next year from April 3-10 at the historic Royal Dublin Society.
Paddy Power’s regular satellite schedule gives players a chance to win their way into the Irish Poker Open for as little as 1 cent. Starting with the 1 cent mini-feeders, a series of steps will take players all the way up to the twice-weekly €50 qualifiers on Wednesdays and Sundays. The Sunday qualifiers offer two €1,150 Irish Open Seats guaranteed with both a re-buy and add-on available. There will also be another €50 satellite every Wednesday offering one seat guaranteed, also with rebuy & add on available.
From January 16, Paddy Power will be adding an extra seat to the qualifier prize pools and will also be adding an extra tournament every Tuesday.
