Not only the Irish flag appears on the leaderboard but also plenty of Canadians, various Europeans and a handful of Americans. One of them is multiple WSOP Circuit winner Michael Lech, who played all but two hands on the first entry before busting and then re-entering.
Further casualties include Toivo Rinne, Billy Irvine, Jay O’Toole, Koen Roelofsen, Tomas Geleziunas, Jamie Dwan, Robert Elkin, Fintan Hand, Luke Walsh, Dara O’Kearney, and Firat Baltaci to name all but a few.
