With an average of 25 big blinds in the new level, it is no surprise that the past hour brought steady eliminations. The field has been trimmed down to around 116 hopefuls of which the top 71 finishers will earn a slice of the €149,614 prize pool.
That won’t be the case for the likes of Kevin Frame, Thomas Beck, Gavin Caldwell, Alexandros Dimogiorgis, Stephen Woodhead, Amine Hamza, Nicola Basile, Snejzana Marinescu, Carlo Citrone, and Juliano Nicola as they are all gone.
Tables are moving to eight-handed in rapid fashion, too.
