Gentleman Liam Flood

The late, great Liam Flood is remembered with this popular €350 6-Max event, starting at 16:00 (with late registration open until 18:20).

A friend of Terry Rogers who created the Irish Open (not to mention two-time winner), it’s impossible to overstate the influence Flood had on the game in Ireland and the wider world.

If you look at his Wikipedia page, it said it all (well, something about it) back in 1984 – “Irishman wins big poker pot”. The Tuscaloosa News. Associated Press. 29 August 1984.
