There’s just 40 players left in the Main Event now, all of whom will have designs on the €415,615 first prize, trophy and of course all the kudos, attention and cachet that comes with winning the Irish Open.
Georgios Tsouloftas with 5,470,000 heads the remaining players but there’s lots of time left for that to change before we reach our final table.
Also well placed are the irrepressible Deborah Worley-Roberts (1.7M) (with a tiny tabasco bottle she keeps sprinkling over her chips), this week’s America’s Cup Finalist, David Lappin(1.8M) and legend of the game Padraig Parkinson is still well in contention with 845,000 as well.
