Considering the game was invented in Sweden, it makes sense that the other Nordic countries were the first ones outside of the Land of Vikings to start playing Sviten. From the get-go, there are already some prominent names in the field. Franke is, of course, one of them, with five Sviten titles according to his Hendon Mob page, two of them which came this year.

Another one is Finland’s Jari Mahonen, who’s got three Sviten titles to his name (again, according to The Hendon Mob). The most-recent one came in Tallinn roughly one month ago, where he conquered a field that consisted of 88 entries.

Franke and Mahonen are two serious contenders for the title. Finland’s Riku Koivurinne could also run deep, having two titles and one runner-up finish to his name.
