The 2024 Irish Poker Open €1,150 Main Event is down to just four players after Oliver Boyce headed to the cashier to collect the fifth-place prize of €109,820.
Hiep Ninh took the chip lead after winning a pot against the previous chip leader Georgios Tsouloftas before padding it after snagging all of Boyce’s chips. Boyce jammed the turn with an open-ended straight draw and an ace available with ace-nine against the top pair held by Hiep Ninh with jack-ten.
The river bricked Boyce and the final four players locked up a huge sum of €142,760.
