There’s already an extraordinary story to share from Day 3, and cards aren’t even in the air. Garry Spinks, currently lying in tenth place stackwise with over a million chips, won his seat in the Main Event in a satellite. That’s worth noting, but not quite extraordinary.
What is more so is that Spinks, Nottingham’s Dusk Till Dawn Christmas Cup winner (December the 27th) is such a fan of his regular poker room and the staff there that, should he win, he’s promised to donate €100,000 to the dealers there.
Hopefully we’ll be able to get Laura Cornelius on the case later for more of an interview, but for now, we reckon that Spinks’ virtual rail is about to get crowded with dealers.
