The players have swapped stacks – much of the damage was done in a curious hand where Andrew Hulme check-called 250k on a Jh Kd Ah flop (I’m afraid the preflop action must remain a mystery), then both players checked the 3h turn. Hulme checked the 3s river and Chis bet 500k – but Hulme now check-raised to 2.5 million. After a few moments of pause and a quantity of huffing and puffing, Chis gave it up. He’s now playing 3.5 million or so to Hulme’s 5 million.
Chis shoved over a button bet from Hulme next hand, but that was as far as it went. He looks less than happy that he’s lost the chip lead for the first time since we were about seven-handed or something like that.
