James Cazin opened to 300 on the Button, and Luis Sequeira made the call from the Small Blind. Schneiders, who finished second in the €5,000 EPT Paris Main Event roughly a month ago, then three-bet to 1,600 from the Big Blind. Cazin folded his hand before Sequiera made the call.
Sequiera check-called a 600 bet from Schneiders on the flop. Action went check-check on the turn. Sequiera took over the aggression with a 3,800 bet on the river, and after contemplating his decision for a few seconds, Schneiders made the call.
Sequiera turned over for the nut flush, and Schneiders’ hand hit the muck. “Good flop for you,” Schneiders saluted his opponent as the whole table shared a chuckle in good ol’ Irish Poker Open fashion.
