I hope everyone brought their running shoes but they won’t be needed in the first part of the tournament where things might get wet especially when flush draws collide.
We are in Hall 2 and there were some 30 players registered ten minutes before the start which then quickly climbed higher.
Notables in right from the start are James Cazin, Scott Berko, Willem De Jong, Claudio Baldini, Raf De Wever, Ivan Tononi and Oliver White but many more are expected to join during the three hours of late registration.
The button has been drawn to seat number six and the cards are now in the air.
