2025 JP Masters Champion Alexandre Pruneau

Level 1: 100/200/200
Entries: 94/94
Prize Pool: €45,590

The JP Poker Masters has long been one of the flagship mid-stakes events of the Irish Open, and the 2026 edition of the €550 buy-in, tw0-day event kicks off at 2 p.m today at the Royal Dublin Society.

Players will sit down with a 30,000 starting stack, with blinds starting at 100/200, with a 200 big blind ante. The tournament is single re-entry, and the clock will be set to 30-minute levels until the final table, when hands per level will be played.

Late registration closes before the start of Level 9, with 15% of the field set to be paid. Day 1 will play until the end of Level 17, with qualifiers returning at noon on Easter Sunday for the final.

All runners will be aiming to emulate the 2025 champion, Alexandre Pruneau of Canada, who banked €58,579 after overcoming the 742-entry field, defeating Norwegian Henning Kosmalla heads-up.

We will be on the floor from cards in the air until the trophy is hoisted, so stay tuned for your coverage of all the action.
