Mitchell Hynam repotted preflop and Gareth McMahon called as they headed to the flop. Hynam bet 550,000 and McMahon raised the pot to more than 3.2 million. Not quite short to begin the hand with, Hynam pushed all-in for little more and McMahon called.

The turn and river were both blanks and the short-lived heads-up duel found a winner in McMahon. Hynam finished in third place in the €1,150 PLO 8-Max Event and now had to settle for second place.
McMahon snapped a quick selfie with the picture after shaking hands with his opponent and was visibly delighted about the trophy.
