Time for the €10k Super High Roller

The €10k Super High Roller kicks off today and we’re expecting this to be a BIG one. It’s an unlimited re-entry and these High Roller folk never shy away from firing multiple bullets! Late reg is open until 9pm. PokerNews will be covering the Super High Roller in depth and you can read their updates right here on our live events page. If you want to see what these High Rollers actually look like, then check out the gallery once the tournament is under way. The event begins at 1pm.

Last year’s event attracted 53 entries – with some of the biggest names in poker making the final table, including Klemens Roiter and the later-to-be-crowned Main Event champion Simon Wilson. Nevertheless, it was a recreational player who took it down: Irish businessman Robbie Toan beat the pros to seize his first live trophy and a €163,800 first prize. The total prize pool was €503,831.

€350 America’s Cup

Long gone are the days when the America’s Cup was restricted only to Americans! Holland’s Bart Timmer was last year’s champion, outlasting a record 685-entry field to win €38,340 for first place. This year’s two-day tournament starts at 2pm today with gallery images here.

One player who is definitely in on this one is ebullient American Randy Hagen. The international style icon has absolutely NAILED Irish Open apparel and we’re excited to see what comes out of the suitcase for the America’s Cup. You can check out our story on Randy here.

Mixed 8-Game High Roller

Ben Sweetman is really rocking the 2026 Irish Open. He’s already secured one trophy – in the Deuce to Seven Triple Draw – and is now in pole position to cram another one in his suitcase. The final of the €1,150 Mixed 8-Game High Roller starts today at noon with seven left. There were 70 entries in all, generating a total prize pool of €71,295. You can check up on yesterday’s live updates here and follow along today here. There’s €19,850 up top for the winner. Also still in: 2016 EPT Monte Carlo champion Jan Bendik and British veteran John Kabbaj.
