€1 million guaranteed Luxon Mystery Bounty Day 3

The €1 million guaranteed Luxon Mystery Bounty cruised into Day 3 at noon today with just 19 players left from the 1,175 who entered (some 50 entries ahead of last year’s field.)

The current chip leader is Nevada native Adrian Mack whose biggest cash to date was a deep run at EPT Prague in 2024. The huge turnout has generated a lush prize pool of €569,875 with most of the 175 players making the money having already paid a visit to the cash desk.

Among those still in contention for the trophy and €96,700 first prize are 2025 Main Event finalist Brandon Harris (last year’s highest-placed online qualifier and currently second in chips) ….

Brandon Harris

and British pro Jack Hardcastle (who may be short-stacked on 1,480,000 but has a very strong track record in big-field live events.)

The surviving 19 players are a diverse lot; 11 countries are represented here on Day 3 with the UK fielding the most runners at present. All those remaining are assured of a €3,410 payday. The final is tomorrow (Tuesday) at 1pm – click here for live updates and you’ll be able to grab pics here when they’re ready. Yesterday’s gallery is here.

2013 champ Ian Simpson thrives on Day 1a of the €2.5 million guaranteed Main Event

The €2.5 million guaranteed Main Event got underway yesterday, attracting a total of 467 entries. Italian Massimiliano Cordeschi bagged up the biggest stack with 773,000 but 2013 Irish Open champion Ian Simpson is currently second in chips with 554,000. You can read all about it on our dedicated live updates page.

We now have a short hiatus before Day 1b commences on Wednesday; at that point, PokerNews will take over the coverage of our flagship tourney but it will all appear right here on the Irish Open website.

Steve O’Dwyer, the 2022 champion and one of the world’s top tournament players with $47m+ in live earnings, reported 220,000, while EPT Paris 2026 runner-up Felix Schneiders finished the opening flight with 325,000. Newly-appointed PokerStars Ambassador David Lappin is on Schneiders’ heels  with 296,000.

A total of 93 players made it through Day 1a and they’ll be back on Saturday. The next starting flight for the Main Event is on Wednesday with three more after that – Day 1c on Thursday and 1d and a turbo 1e on Friday.
