The 2025 Irish Open €2,500,000 Main Event is just around the corner, and iPoker has unveiled a massive selection of online satellites to help players secure their seats.
Feeder satellites, including daily freebuy tournaments, have been in full swing since Monday, January 6, across nearly 22 iPoker network sites. Players can climb the satellite ladder or choose to buy in directly to the seat-only and prize package qualifiers.
Seat-only qualifiers are running five nights a week — on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays — with entry fees of €50 or €100. A total of 85 seats are guaranteed during the satellite period, which will continue until April 6, just days before the 12-day festival kicks off in Dublin on April 10.
Additionally, every Sunday will feature a €150 Day 2 qualifier with a €2,250 prize package up for grabs. The package includes the €1,150 Main Event buy-in and €1,100 for spending money. In total, 66 prize packages are guaranteed, with Day 1 qualifiers running every day leading up to the Sunday Day 2 event.
But that’s not all — players can also qualify for the Mini Irish Open for just €10, with a shot at winning a €250 entry ticket to the Mini Open, which now has a massive €1,000,000 guarantee. Full Listing is here
These satellites are available across the iPoker network, which includes top sites like PaddyPowerPoker, Grosvenor Poker, Bet365, Betfair, Betfred, Betsson, Betsafe, Gut, Nordicbet, Boyle Sports, Champion Poker, Coolbet, Holland Casino, Meridianbet, NetBet, Novibet, Paf, Redstar, and Svenska Spel. This means players from across Europe — and beyond — can now qualify for the 2025 Main Event for just a very small investment.
The Irish Open, the longest-running No Limit Hold’em tournament outside of Las Vegas, will take place from April 10 to April 21, 2025, at the iconic Royal Dublin Society. For the third consecutive year, the event has partnered with major industry names PokerStars and Paddy Power, providing multiple online qualification routes. Paddy Power’s satellites have been running since November, while PokerStars launched their schedule last month.
The 2024 Main Event saw a record-breaking 3,233 entries, creating a prize pool of €3,152,175 — well above the original guarantee. Over 700 players secured their seats online, and with even more satellites running on iPoker, Paddy Power and PokerStars this year, the 2025 Irish Open offers more opportunities than ever before for players to join the action and potentially walk away with a life-changing prize. The full schedule can be accessed on our schedule page.
