PokerStars players don’t have to wait until March to get a taste of Irish Open excitement! To whet everyone’s appetites, Irish Open sponsor PokerStars is hosting a special Irish Open Online series next week featuring an overall guaranteed prize pool of nearly $650,000.
The Series will include a total of 17 events, all carrying substantial guarantees and each awarding an Irish Open Silver Pass worth $2,500 in addition to the main prize pool.
The week-long series will run from Monday, February 26 to Monday, March 4 with an overall guaranteed prize pool of $645,000. Buy-ins range from $11 to $320.
The Irish Poker Open in Dublin is the longest-running No Limit Texas Hold’em poker tournament in Europe and is taking place from March 25 to April 1 at the Royal Dublin Society.
Irish Open Online highlights
The Irish Open Online schedule includes the $109 Irish Open Main Event which comes with a $150,000 guarantee, a $320 High Roller with a $50,000 guarantee and the Mini Irish Open which costs just $22 to enter and has a $50,000 guarantee. There will also be a ton of other compelling events including the $65,000 guaranteed Mystery Bounty and a $33 Heads-Up Zoom tourney with $17,500 guarantee.
The addition of 17 $2,500 Silver Passes for the live Irish Open festival is a real bonus. The Pass includes a ticket for the €1,150 live Irish Open Main Event (starting on March 27) along with a €550 Irish Open side event entry, limited edition merchandise and access to exclusive Irish Open activities.
Silver Pass winners will also get an entry into the €500,000 guaranteed Mini Irish Open, courtesy of the Irish Open. The event starts on March 25 and costs just €200 to enter. The remaining value of the Silver Pass will be credited to players’ PokerStars accounts towards expenses.

If you don’t win a Silver Pass during the Irish Open Online series, don’t despair! PokerStars is also running a colossal schedule of satellites for the €1 million guaranteed Irish Open Main Event right up to Sunday, March 17.
A total of 350 players qualified for this year’s event on PokerStars including champion David Docherty who won €365,000 after snagging his €1,150 entry in a €109 qualifier.
The PokerStars qualifiers guarantee that hundreds of players will win seats or packages to the Irish Open with weekly qualifiers at €109 and feeder satellites costing €1.10, €5.50, €11 and €16.50. PokerStars is also offering “free buy” satellites offering a free entry for the first bullet, followed by micro stakes rebuys (€0.11) and add-ons after that.
