We’ve lost three tables’ worth of players already at the end of Level 2 and lurking amongst the 16,000 average stacks are some that have given their owners a cushion (or bullying ammunition, depending on one’s perspective) in these early levels.
Among those with roughly double the starting stack are currently:
Anthony Cox
John Curran
Ross Dalton
Joe Stapleton (!)
Mate Nagy
and Carl Dobrzelewski (pictured below) – you might remember him as this morning’s runner-up in the opening €350 6-Max Championship (for €13,220 after a four-way 5:30am deal). Mr. Dobrzelewski is an early candidate for our Irish Open 2023 Hardcore Award (these are always very hotly contested) for turning up pretty much on time and diving straight back into action.
