Chris Williams has a few sneaky tricks up his sleeve, which have no doubt played a big part in the 4.3 million stack he’s built up.
Recently he raised UTG to 100k with As Qh, called by Matthew Bushell in the hijack with 8s 8c.
Everyone else folded, Williams checking the Ah 3c 5h board for deception. Bushell also checked back. The 2d on the turn completed an unlikely. but possible straight – Williams checking again and Bushell throwing out a 100k bet, perhaps to deny overcards their equity.
Williams called and when the Tc river was checked through, the pot was Williams. His monster stack continues growing…
