Daniel Wilson, Guillaume Soumier, and Rolandas Aglinskas, who at one point had one of the biggest stacks in the room, all hit the rail recently while the banter continued at Table 4 with Bert Stevens, Benjamin Spragg, Conor Beresford, and more entertaining the masses.
This doesn’t mean there wasn’t action. Shortly after we grabbed a hand resulting in a double-up by Frederik Thiemer, the entertaining poker streamer Stevens said you missed some fireworks the hand before.
Stevens shared he defended his big blind against the open by Thiemer. Stevens check-raised from 6,900 to 16,900 before he called a jam for 69,000 with the seven-five-trey on the flop. Thiemer turned over pocket rockets and Stevens shared he felt he had good hope with his top pair and gutshot straight draw. A blank came on the turn but Stevens got his double after a seven paired on the board to improve him past Thiemer’s rockets with trips.
The next hand, Thiemer four-bet jammed for 23,500 and was called by Conor Beresford.

“I am off to re-enter,” Thiemer said as he stood up. He sat back down after the safe runout.
Beresford asked for a count.
“Oh, I didn’t realize it was that much,” Beresford said while still having plenty of chips in his stack.
