The Main Event final draws closer – we’re sensing the tension ramp up here on Day 3, the stakes getting higher and the prospects of victory more tangible for the 85 players left contending the main.
Konstantinos Vatseris leads the hopefuls with 3,600,000 to his name, but there’s a host of sharks and big names who are looking to hunt him down. Notable amongst these is legend Padraig Parkinson, perhaps inspired by Barny Boatman’s recent EPT success to show these young whipper-snappers how it’s done. Others in the hunt include Brighton pair Deborah Worley-Roberts and Gary Banks, while serial crusher Conor Beresford is also well placed with a top 5 chip stack.
