Frederic Max opened to 60,000 under the gun, and was met with a three-bet to 195,000 from Ivan Yatsenko in the big blind.
After some deliberation, Max called to see the flop, where Yatsenko continued with a bet of 130,000.
Max stuck around for the turn, where Yatsenko checked. Max slid out a bet of 350,000, and Yatsenko responded with a check-raise to 1,025,000, almost covering Max, who had about 875,000 behind.
Max went into the tank, and suddenly announced all-in, Yatsenko calling off for not that much more.

The dealer spiked the on the river to give Max trip nines. “Yes, Oh Baby! Get in there, yes!”, shouted Max in celebration, as Yatsenko looked on crestfallen.
Max apologised, saying “I thought you might have been at it”, as he raked in a huge pot.
