The second level after the dinner break is underway and the field has been cut down to the last 70 hopefuls. Among the recent casualties were Rob Sherwood, Thomas Buxton, John Murray and James O’Sullivan as the tables quickly break.
Floor staff announced to all players that a total of 183 entries had created a prize pool of €55,028 and the top 23 spots get paid at least €500, while the winner can look forward to a payday of €12,850. Day 1 is set to play down to the money and it may still be a long evening / night session.
