Level 12: 45/183 Entries Remain
Blinds: 2,500/5,000 – 1,000
After two late night shenanigans, the Mixed 8-Game Championship is not expected to run until the morning hours and there are 45 players left out of 183 entries, all hoping to scoop a portion of the €55,028 prize pool. Only the top 23 spots will be paid and that’s when Day 1 of the tournament is scheduled to conclude, which may very well be within the next two to three hours due to the increasing big bets in all Stud variants.
No longer in contention are Georgina James, Kevin Van Veen, and Kami Chisholm with Lee Horton also hitting the rail not long ago as well.
The Irish Open reporting team will be back at noon local time tomorrow to pick up the action of the final four tables in the money until a winner has been crowned. In the meanwhile, you can follow the progress on the PokerStars LIVE app which has updated counts in the breaks and a list of all players still in contention.
