The second day of the 2026 Irish Open is already in full swing at the iconic Royal Dublin Society (RDS) in the city center of Ireland’s capital. Several simultaneous will bring a buzz into the vast tournament areas and the riffling of chips can be heard from every corner.
Among the new events on the schedule is the €3k PLO High Roller Cuatro which kicked off at 2 p.m. local time and has thus far reached the end of level three. Some 25 entries have been recorded and the only casualty has been Stewart Ferguson. There is a special twist to this particular tournament with two different bubbles in play.
At 25% of the field remaining, everyone has a shot at instantly getting the equivalent to the full tournament buy-in back by knocking out players. Furthermore, Day 1 will then play down to the cash money bubble with the top 15% of the field securing a cash prize for certain no matter if they earn any bounties or not.
All participants started with 50,000 in chips and that was good for 250 big blinds in the opening level. With a level duration of 40 minutes and extended late registration until the start of level 11 at approximately 10.10 p.m. local time, however, it certainly is going to take a while to get to the business end of the four-card shenanigans.
