Action folded to Michael Khan, who attempted to limp from the Small Blind. Dean Hutchison wouldn’t allow it, as he made it 6,000 from the Big Blind. Khan then four-bet to 18,000. The well-experienced Hutchison made the call.
Khan continued on the aggressive path with a 12,500 continuation bet on the flop. Hutchison made the call, followed by both players checking the turn. After another check from Khan on the river, Hutchison put out a hefty 38,000 bet. Khan went into the tank, contemplating his decision for a good three, maybe four minutes. Eventually, he was called the clock upon, at which point, he made the call.
Hutchison, who finished sixth in the legendary 2023 WSOP Main Event, turned over , which was enough to take down the rather chunky pot.
