A total of 102 entries (and this is just Day 1A) have boosted this second edition of the €200 Irish Open Deaf Championship Main Event far past the 29 total from last year.
In the lead overnight is Paul Whitehead, with Irish Open Ambassador (and Canadian satellite organiser and relentless enthusiast for Deaf poker) Darren Chow in second. Last year’s winner Starny Hoang is still very much in the mix, too.
Day 1B begins Friday at 13:00, with the combined Day 2 field playing to a winner on Saturday, March 28. Live blogging will begin on Day 2.
