Day 1c has only been in action for one level, but it hasn’t a profitable one for Colin Quarry. Still isn’t quite, if the measure of success is building on the initial 30,000 starting stack; he has, however, doubled his half-stack back up to the start point through Aidan O’Hagan.
It’s understandable how it happened: a flop of 7s As 7c saw Quarry check-raise O’Hagan’s 2,500 bet from the small blind, all in for 14,200. Late position O’Hagan made the call with Ah Jc, but Quarry’s trips with 7h 8c held to bring him back to the stack he sat down with an hour ago.
