Well, there’s an awful lot of luck in tournament reporting. While my colleague Jen spent ages diligently watching nothing but paint dry over in the Luxon Pay High Roller, I simply nipped over for a second sans notebook to ask TD Gerard about late reg (answer = 8 levels being played tonight, reg open through Level 10 tomorrow) and accidentally witnessed the aftermath of Ian Gascoigne busting out to, I believe, Blake Vogdes, plus I ran into Niall “Firaldo” Farrell making an uncharacteristically almost-on-time entrance and taking a seat at the same table Gascoigne had just departed. Also recently appeared in the field: Steve O’Dwyer and Benny Glaser. It’s all action over there as far as I’m concerned.
