Joseph field ran on fumes for most of the final table, never really getting into comfortable stack territory. He did well to survive so long, but life on the edge catches up with anybody.
Down to his last 4 big blinds he went all-in with Kc Qc over Nadeem Majid’s open raise. The only problem was that Majid had Ah Qh and was strictly dominating his fellow Brit.
The Ac Qs 5d flop was no good whatsoever for the at-risk Field. He would need a lot of cooperation from the deck at this point to survive. The 9c offered some light by way of flush draw, until the 8d river sealed his fate.
Field played gutty poker all day today, but every good run must end. We were left with three million plus stacks and some poker left to play.
