Leslie Packer opened to 500,000 from the Lo-jack. Seated right next to him, Cameron Sinclair made the call.

Packer fired a pot-sized 1,100,000 continuation bet on the flop, and Sinclair made the call. Packer moved all in for 4,365,000 on the river, having Sinclair covered by the smallest of margins. This sent Sinclair deep into the tank, who, after counting out his own stack, engaged Packer in some speech.

“What did you have last time?” Sinclair asked his opponent, presumably referring to a hand they played earlier together during the tournament. “Kings, remember?” Packer replied. “And I was telling the truth, I always do,” he added. “What do you have this time, then?” Sinclair followed up. “Fudge* all,” Packer answered, and the whole table burst out laughing.

After getting called the clock upon, Sinclair decided to let his hand go. “I told you I was gonna show,” Packer said, revealing his holdings. Sinclair gave himself a pat on the back, claiming he mucked tens.

Leslie Packer: 6,565,000
Cameron Sinclair: 4,000,000

*He didn’t say “Fudge”.
