Anthony Wilcox has emerged as the winner in the €120 Irish Open NLH Deaf Championship. It took the Englishman a little over six hours to capture the title and the trophy, along with the €1,930 top prize. He navigated through a 71-entrant field, with 52 unique players participating. Wilcox faced off against Giuseppe Berlingeri and denied the Italian’s bid for the victory.
The top 11 finishers reached paid places, sharing €6,887 in prize money. Irish Open Ambassador Darren Chow was among those who made it past the bubble, finishing eighth — just ahead of last year’s Irish Open Deaf Championship victor Starny Hoang.
