Fabian Bartuschk is now in Day 1A of the €1,150 Luxon Mystery Bounty, after busting the €350 Big O. Bartuschk has to be considered one of the best Open Face Chinese-players in the world; during last year’s Irish Poker Open he finished heads-up against Riku Koivurinne in the €350 Open Face Chinese Championship. Since then, he’s claimed multiple titles in the (in my opinion, extremely enjoyable) game.
Bartuschk made it 2,100 UTG and was called by Yurii Zabrodotskyi in the Big Blind (who might be the current chip leader). Zabrodotskyi check-called a 2,300 continuation bet from Bartuschk on the flop. After another check from Zabrodotskyi on the turn, Bartuschk sized up to 13,500, which was enough to get his opponent to fold.
Another prominent name that has joined the field is England’s Andrew Hulme, currently on his second bullet.
