The debut of the €5,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Mystery Bounty High Roller at the 2025 Irish Open saw a field of 28 entries emerge to create an overall prize pool of €129,668 and all of that is up for grabs on the final day of the event at the Royal Dublin Society as of 1 p.m. local time today.
After 13 levels of 40 minutes each on Day 1, only six players bagged up on the stone bubble and Klemens Roiter bagged the largest stack of 432,000 to establish a primed spot for the chase of the cash and mystery bounty prizes. Second in chips is the UK’s Shamil Patel with 334,000 followed by Markus Ristola with 241,000.
Irish Open ambassador Chris Dowling is the only local player still in contention and eyes a second Omaha trophy of the series after his victory in the Big O Championship on the opening day. He has the work cut out with 186,000 but the four-card aficionado should be right in his comfort zone. Also still in the mix are Fabian Rolli (138,000) and Juha Helppi (69,000) with the latter as shortest stack.
Only the top five spots will be paid at least €6,150 in cash and once the money bubble bursts, the Mystery Bounty prizes come into play as well. Both the cash and mystery bounty prizes are identical as follows:
1 – €24,648
2 – €15,900
3 – €10,550
4 – €7,600
5 – €6,150
The action resumes in level 14 with blinds of 3,000-6,000 and a big blind ante of 6,000, leaving plenty of wiggle room en route to crowning a champion. Below are the seat assignments of the final six players:
