The 122-entry strong field was cut down to only 49 hopefuls with fewer than one full level played after the dinner break. Some of those who departed as of lately were Sascha Manns, Mark Finnane, Nikolay Ponomarev, Zexuan Huan, John Burke, Ronan Nally, and Duff Charette.
