What a day! Side event cancelled due to Main Event superpopularity, final satellites full to bursting, oversubscribed Players’ Lounge shenanigans, record-breaking live flight – it’s all kicked off at the RDS in Dublin.
The number of survivors from Day 1a – 447 – would be a respectable number of entrants in most live events. But today saw 1,108 entries into the Main Event, a frankly incredible turn-out that brings the total number of entrants to 2,074. That’s even pre close of registration, before the start of play tomorrow at noon.

Leading the bumper pack of Day 1c survivors appears to be Miguel Coussement with 633,000, Stuart Kerridge close behind with 586,000. There’s then a bit of a gap before the next highest stacks… see for yourself by clicking the LIVE DATA tab just above ^^^.
