The Day 2 bubble began and short stacks were piling their chips in the middle looking for an end of day double up. Among them were Janos Jeszek, who made two pair to double through Nameghi Moussavi.

Richard Williamson was left desperately short after losing a flip to Viraj Nadgir. The next hand, Williamson moved all in for 14,000 from the button and was called by Vincenzo Lombardi in the small blind and Ray Masters in the big blind.

Lombardi and Masters both checked the action down on all three streets on a board of and players revealed their cards. Williamson won the pot with for the ace high flush and tripled his stack.

It looked like Williamson had done enough to survive, but he put his chips in the middle the next hand blind. Emad Zarghami moved all in from early position for 240,000 and the rest of the table folded.

The board ran out and Williamson picked up a pair of threes on the flop before Zarghami pulled ahead with a pair of aces on the river. He won the pot and Williamson was eliminated in 13th place.

The rest of the 12 remaining players bagged and tagged for Day 2.
