Day 1B of the Irish Open Mini Main Event has now reached its conclusion. A total of 249 entries were made to the flight. Of those, 39 players made the money and locked up a min-cash of at least €350. The top 13 remaining players made it through to Day 2.
Vilius Kadelskas of Lithuania bagged with the chip lead of 1,575,000, dwarfing Day 1A’s chip leader Cristina Jugastru (1,160,000) to take the overall chip lead. Kadelskas’ closest competitor on Day 1B was Rasheed Mahmood, who bagged 1,005,000.
Others weren’t so fortunate. Mareks Bonders was eliminated on the stone bubble and Richard Williamson busted out before the Day 2 bubble to close out the flight.
Day 1B was the second of 13 total starting flights. The next flight, Day 1C kicks off at Saturday 12th at 6 p.m. local time. For those who make it through to Day 2, the finale takes place on Monday 21 April at noon local time.
