PokerStars Ambassador and award-winning Twitch streamer Ben “Spraggy” Spragg is hosting two unmissable live events at this year’s Irish Open – as well as a run of value-packed online tournaments over the next few weeks and putting his name to a very special version of the Emerald Edition Silver Pass.
The live events get underway on April 1 with Spraggy’s Quid Games – a fun take on the Squid Games concept – which is already set to provide an unforgettable night of chaos (and prizes) in the Craic Den. The following day, Spraggy will also be hosting a dedicated €550 Mystery Bounty tournament.
Not only that, but Spraggy is also hosting a series of weekly online Centroll tournaments on PokerStars – each awarding fabulous prizes including a seat in the Mystery Bounty!
Spraggy’s Quid Games – 9pm, April 1 | The Craic Den
Spraggy’s Quid Games is a high-energy, team-based showdown featuring exciting challenges in the Craic Den. Up for grabs are entries into Spraggy’s €550 Mystery Bounty the following day, as well as tickets into an upcoming online series. The Quid Games kick off at 9pm but Spraggy will be hanging out in the Craic Den from 8pm for a Meet and Greet with players.
Red Light, Green Light – This fiendish first round will test balance, coordination and nerve as you try to get from one end of the Craic Den stage to the other. The rules are simple – move when the lights are green, freeze when they’re red. Think you can manage that? Great. But what if your legs are tied together! Not so easy now, eh?!! Ha! No bunny-hopping either (it’s in the small print.)
Each team member will be up against three others in the game, with the winners going into a Red Light, Green Light final.
No team? No problem. We’ll match you up on the day; the Craic Den is the perfect place to make new alliances!
Grand Final – Spraggy’s All You Can(’t) Eat
Fussy eaters are doomed to fail in the Grand Final. Think the Bushtucker Trial on I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here and you’re on the right track. Yup. Gross. Spraggy’s All You Can(’t) Eat challenge will see finalists invited to eat a series of mystery items. All four Quid Games winners will receive a €550 ticket to Spraggy’s Mystery Bounty on April 2. And every Quid Games participant who buys into the Mystery Bounty will automatically be entered into a Last Longer— and the winner of that scores a €1,150 Main Event ticket.
Spraggy’s Mystery Bounty (Event #62)
Spraggy’s Mystery Bounty is a €550 buy-in tournament (€242.50 + €242.50 + €50) taking place on April 2. The event will start at 2pm (giving players plenty of time to recover from the Quid Games the previous night) with all players getting a 30,000 starting stack. Blind levels are 25 minutes with late reg ends before the start of Level 9 with unlimited re-entries. The mystery bounty draw will open shortly after the tournament reaches 20% of the field remaining when all remaining players will be given a mystery bounty token.
Win your way into Spraggy’s Mystery Bounty for one cent!
The Spraggy-hosted fun starts long before we get to the RDS. Spraggy is currently giving players the chance to win their way into his Mystery Bounty tournament via a series of Centroll tourneys being held on PokerStars every Sunday between now and March 22. (To find the tourney, type “Spraggy” into the search bar on the PokerStars client. Each Centroll starts at 6.30pm WET/UK time.)

The first Centroll took place last Sunday and attracted more than 550 runners. The winner each week will win entry into Spraggy’s Mystery Bounty. Please note that you will have to be at the Irish Open to take advantage of this great prize – otherwise Spraggy is just going to give it away at the event! The runner-up wins entry into the $109 Irish Open weekly qualifier on PokerStars with 3rd to 7th places each winning a €22 Irish Open satellite ticket.
