The final three players in the 2024 Irish Poker Open €1,150 Main Event agreed to a deal to soften the blows of the massive pay jumps. Both Mark Johnston and Tero Laurila earned at least €232,685 while chip leader Hiep Ninh secured a ton more with €309,979 locked up.
Players are still playing for more than just the trophy with a ton of cash still on the line. Tonight’s winner will go home with an extra €60,000 on top of what was already agreed to, while the runner-up will receive an additional €25,657.
