The Hendon Mob’s Roland Boothby Delighted to Break Records

As we mentioned earlier in our coverage, The Hendon Mob €250 Championship broke a side event record at the Irish Poker Festival with 599 entries battling it out in hopes of nailing down the trophy, the flags, and the whopping €23,663 top prize.

We just learned that this also broke a new record for the largest attendance for a single-day event. Of course, we are thrilled that the partnership between The Hendon Mob and the Irish Poker Open has achieved new heights for both.

We ran into the Head of Partnerships at The Hendon Mob Roland Boothby, who is keeping his eagle eye on the event, and he was just as thrilled about records being broken for two festivals.

“We’re delighted to have broken the record for the biggest single-flight field in the Hendon Mob Championship history,” Boothby shared. “To do it at such a prestigious festival as the Irish Poker Open whilst simultaneously breaking their record for the biggest-ever side event is the icing on the cake.”

Boothby unfortunately didn’t have any cake to share. We asked, but maybe you will have better luck.

Best of luck to all the remaining field of 162 players with 87 players locking up at least a min-cash of €375.
