The Hendon Mob Championship has been a staple at the Irish Poker Open since its inception in 2019, and each year it has got bigger and bigger. And 2025 is no different after the THMC attracted an unbelievable 888 runners at the Royal Dublin Society. The biggest THMC ever held in Europe.
The massive field has been thinned down to 56 players, with Bulgarian Petar Petrov the overwhelming chip leader with 1,920,000. David Alvarez, Christoph Huber, Andreas Blaskov, and Lisa Roberts are among the chasing pack, each with around a million chips.
Cards will be in the air at midday with the blind levels starting at 10,000/20,000 and a big blind ante of 20,000. A winner will be crowned today and get the top prize of €47,448. Each returning player is guaranteed €800.
