“I feel like a young pup,” former ring event champion Peggy Crawford told this reporter with a smile on her face. I asked her what would be most intimidating, playing with the Old Dogs compared to the Young Pups, in the case where she would advance to tomorrow’s Day 2 flight:
“I’m not afraid of them,” a confident Crawford stated. “I’m more afraid of these guys,” she referred to her tablemates. Crawford will surely be a fearsome competitor, though, and she is currently the sole woman among the pups.
When asked what her favorite dog breed is, Crawford gave a very confident answer:
“I like cats.”
