A horror – a Whorror, you might say – of an outdraw has sent Kieran Small to the rail in fourth place. His Ad Ts was dominating Anthony Whorriskey’s As 8d, but the board rolled out 5h 6d 3s 7s 9h with a horrible sort of slow inevitability that made Whorriskey a straight and crushed Small’s championship dreams.
Small didn’t seem very happy about it, but why would he. Whorriskey is up to 2.2 million and players are on a short break.
